Business and Industry Partners and Metro State University Higher Ed Leaders

Thank you to our business and industry partners from Independence Aviation for hosting our first class for the STEM Ventures Aviation Lab on July 15-19.  Eighteen 6th- 10th graders attended the class from multiple schools in the South Metro Denver area.  Special kudos to Independence Aviation owner, Bob Stedman and flight instructor Taylor Albrecht for hosting the amazing week at IA’s Centennial Airport hanger. Students were given tours of the facility and were even able to fly on the real-world Cirrus simulators.
